Angela McKenzie is an award winning multi media artist living and working in the beautiful Bay of Plenty region of New Zealand. Her process is to work in layers of both meaning and media and the result is often a creation of both colour and beauty. Her creative process delves into the many aspects of who we are as individuals and the ever changing kaleidoscope of emotion we experience as we journey through our life. Her artworks have a varied style ranging from Symbolism to Surrealism to feminine themes to Abstraction and uses a wide variety of media, often combining several in one artwork. Angela enjoys working with watercolours, acrylics, inks, wax, resin and a variety of other media on both canvas and board and more recently have been moving into more sculptural pieces.
